Scripture Reading Us
The Refuge is starting up a weekly bible study starting June 1. We will not be searching the scriptures for meaning or direction as much as we will be reading prayerfully with no particular purpose. We understand that no text interprets itself. Rather, the reader brings along all of their experience and bias. In the same way, we pray that the Spirit reads our hearts as we encounter him in prayer. There is no telling where he will lead us from there…
