Blessed are the poor.
The kingdom of god is among them.
Blessed are the poor in spirit.
The kingdom of god is within them.

Blessed are the poor in knowledge, for they do not know the will of god,
the right hand does not know what the left is doing.
Blessed are the poor in desire, for they do not want the will of god,
he made himself nothing, taking the form of a slave.
Blessed are the poor in being, for they and god are one,
having nothing, yet possessing everything.
